MIGA Qantas Rewards Program - Supplementary Ts & Cs

Doctors Starting out in Private Practice

These Supplementary Terms and Conditions apply to offers of bonus Qantas Points made by MIGA.

Offer

MIGA will provide 50,000 bonus Qantas Points as a once off offer to doctors when they commence private practice and first insure with MIGA on or after 30 June 2024 and on or before 30 June 2025, subject to the following conditions:

  • The offer is only available to registered Australian medical practitioners who:
    • Are commencing private practice for the first time, or are transferring to MIGA from another insurer’s first time in private practice arrangement, and
    • First insure with MIGA under MIGA’s Starting out in Private Practice Package,
    • For cover commencing on or after 30 June 2024 and on or before 30 June 2025
  • The offer is not available to medical students, fully insured doctors, interns, employer indemnified doctors, doctors insured in the categories of Registrar, Medical Academic, Medical Administrator and Non-Clinical or Eligible Midwives
  • We will instruct Qantas to credit the bonus Qantas Points to your relevant Qantas Business Rewards or Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Account:
    • If paying by instalments under a direct debit arrangement with MIGA, within 21 days of your first payment
    • In any other case, as soon as practicable and no later than 30 days after payment to MIGA in full
  • No bonus Qantas Points will be awarded if the cover, or your payment, is cancelled, rejected, refunded or returned
  • You must be a member of the Qantas Business Rewards Program or the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program at the time you first insure with MIGA in order to receive these bonus Qantas Points. 

This offer is in addition to the 1 Qantas Point for every $1 paid to MIGA for insurance and membership.


This offer for bonus Qantas Points is subject to and must be read in conjunction with the MIGA Qantas Rewards Program Terms and Conditions and is also subject to the Qantas Business Rewards Terms and Conditions and the Qantas Frequent Flyer Terms and Conditions.
